Hedi Slimane Fashion Diary. Lindsay Lohan!

Having captured the likes of Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss, and most recently Courtney Love, Hedi Slimanes infatuation with shooting Hollywood’s bad girls has become more evident with time. This is a rare find: A duo music experience paying virtually NO regard to modern diametrics and demands. The sound of this music is filtered through a haze of 60s influences (the Hollies, The Walker Brothers) distinctly credited, duly noted ...and equally delivered as a ready made classic for anyone interested. I can only hope that those interested will harp on the music's beauty, value and artistry in a way that impacts modern tastemakers. Huh? Try it. Buy it. And don't "why it" to death for how it is out of time. Make it IN time.

Here’s a dark ‘n’ eerie, simultaneously infectious ‘n’ uplifting, Fleetwood Mac-sampling jam from Denver’s new electro heroes, Pictureplane. The song is “Goth Star,” from the group’s debut album ‘Dark Rift.’ It just goes to show how a few catchy loops and a sprinkling of Stevie Nicks is all you need to make a great song, like how just peanut butter and bacon make a great sammich.

Good Morning People!

This is an excellent album. If you ever liked old school punky goth this is a must in your collection. It definately goes back to the roots of the genre but in a very fresh and interesting way. Full of mournful yet somehow perky notes, chords and melodies, this music carries you into a dark yet fun little nook of your mind.
